Needing a victory against FC Basel, the fans prepared a superb choreography an the entire stadium. With “1898″ written in yellow and black flags on both levels and with two big banners in the terraces along with flags and torches the spectacle was superb.
The fans really did their job and granted a great support for the team. Unfortunately for them, their team lost 2-0 and FC Basel were crowned champions right in front of them. After the final whistle they tried to attack the entrances to the “away fans stand” and clashes with the police occurred. In exchange, the title celebration in Basel was outstanding thousand of fans cheered and lit torches in honour of the champions.
